I'm still the proud owner of a very clean, low mileage and basically trouble free 2006 F150. My daughter seems to have made a yearly habit of getting sick in my truck. 2012 was the worst I've ever seen. I currently have the back seat apart to be washed (again) and I'm contemplating if the carpet needs to come out. (It really does).
I'm thinking I'm going to do that leather kit that I've always wanted. I'm looking for oem fit and something that will replace the cloth seat covers, not go over them. I've searched here and scanned ebay.
I know about katskins and I found leatherseats.com. Anything else you guys know about? I want to do the install myself and I'm looking for a dark grey interior to match my current XLT interior.
Also what about replacement carpet if I decide to go that route as well? Any thoughts on a source for oem fittment carpet?
Don't know about the seats, but if I were going to replace the carpet, I am pretty sure I would put the factory vinyl flooring in the truck. Then instead of vacuming, you just sweep or hose out the dirt.
