which headers are better

ok i am looking at putting a set of headers on my 77 f150 4x4 with a 400 c6. i guess my question is which are better fender exits or or chassis. And also the one set of fender exits i was looking at said may not work with over sized tires

Personally I'd use the fenderwell exit. Straight shot back, no starter overheating, nothing to have to work your way around especially if you have a front tank. As far as them not working with oversize tires, they are talking about the tires rubbing against them which is a easy fix, just turn your steering stops out farther. Mine are all the way out with extensions welded on them and it still turns plenty sharp enough.
