It's difficult trying to ask questions when you don't know what you're talking about....Thanks for your time....I really appreciate it.......I'm learning a new laptop...which is a challenge in itself..I'd sure like to learn how to draw a diagram on it like you did....Thanks again....You guys are very nice...
Heh- The trick is not to use the computer. I drew it on a piece of paper and then scanned it. I'm just as technologically impaired as most if not worse! I'm the same way. A picture is worth a thousand words!

Well I'll be darn....I learn something everyday. I just learned yesterday that the chingus, that plugs into the side the computer controls the mouse, is a standard size, one size fits all. I don't get out much.

Bang! You got me on that one. However it is pretty much idiot proof. I hit 2 buttons (power and then scan) and then it shows up on my desktop. I can handle that! As far as drawing it out on the computer.... forget it. I would have been there for 4-5 hours and probably not even 1/4 of the way done. Sometimes there's nuttin wrong with "the way we use to do it"... then add a little technological flair (the scan part) just to step into the 21 century...

James- You're right... if the boy wasn't already in bed, I would have made him do it.

My brother is the major computer geek/programmer. Without him I'd be taking pictures of notebook paper and placing them in front of a camera for you all. From what I hear, in order to understand/fix computers you must delete all the common sense files in your brain.... then and only then will you get the understanding of how these things work.

The only problem with computers is that they do exactly what we tell them to do...and not what we actually want them to do!!

The starter and coil wiring question is asked enough that it'd probably be a good thing if I drew it up & made it a sticky note. I'll get to that next week!

Please add a couple of fuses (option) to help prevent meltdown and fires. Feel good item, if nothing else. chuck

You'll need a couple variants though. This particular one was drawn up for a Chevy-style starter. Ford starter/solenoid diagram would be a little different, especially when using the upper remote starter solenoid. Then there is Chrysler and who knows what else.
