Thanks for checking, on the napa filter head I got came with the larger heater hose fittings.

I'll just have to look for some that will fit the 3/8 or whatever that goes from radiator to degas bottle. I think I can make this work. I'll try and take some pics when I put this together so its easy to understand, I just think pics and a little description really helps especially on this mod because there has been many descriptions of how to do it. Everyone, please provide comments if you have a better way to route the coolant hoses.

In case you want it Rich, here is a link to how I did mine on the advice of Rodney (BlueMule). Must be on page 3 or 4 I think.

I called Dieselsite and Bob said they sell that base separately for $64. I reckon that's pretty good coompared to the price on the Napa 4019. He said to send an email to orders@dieselsite.com with your phone number and request and someone will call you back and assist with making the order.

I figure you can mount that base anywhere in any of the configurations because it also has a top port to allow air expulsion.

Dieselsite has a very nice looking filter head, it is a little more expensive than the 4019 (24.99) I got at napa.

Oh yeah, for sure. I was looking at Napa's website and saw it for like $55 or something but $25 ain't bad at all.
