17" wheels
I'm getting ready to buy a 97 F250HD 4x4 with the shortbed and 460 motor but this truck has 16.5" wheels on it and there isn't much out there that will fit those rims so I want to go to 17". Any recommendations on where I can find some 17" wheels would be great. Nothing too flashy would be good too.

Being the older body style, most any 8lug wheels will fit.
Only wheels you cant use are off a superduty I'm pretty sure.

Comment? What comment did I make that was so wrong? I was just asking a question, gave it some time and bumped it back to the top. Just looking for a little help with this since this truck is new to me and I don't know that much about them.
I'm just looking for some rims for this truck so I can put some good tires on it before the current tires wear out. I think there is an issue with offset or something due to the brake caliper? Thanks.

Plenty of people have swapped to different wheel size.
You just posted when no one had input, and then your post got pushed to the back. You coulda just bumped or clarified what you wanted.
