Regular cab storage?

Just looking for some ideas for storage options. I have a regular cab with a bench seat, I currently have 3 small tool bags and a 4 way lug wrench tossed behind the seat, but something more organized would be nice.

I was considering picking up a tool box for the bed, but I really don't want to lose any space back there. I also saw some boxes that fit over the wheel well in the bed, I guess the idea is that you retain more usable space. Anyone ever used something like that?
I'm interested in both interior and exterior solutions, and pics always help!

National Parts Depot has a behind the seat storage shelf with four shelves &a locking compartment made out of tough ABS black plastic for $129.

Here is another solution for you, more along the lines of what a contractor would use
Pick-Up Truck Backwall Storage System - Behind Seat Storage for Pickup Trucks - American Van Equipment - Ladder

Dee Zee Truck Cab Organizer, Tough Guy II - 53 in. L x 14.5 in. H x 6.5 in. W - Mfg# CO85

Heres a thread here where a guy has one in his truck
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...organizer.html

There is a treasure trove of solutions out there & if you can fabricate, buy some diamond plate and create your own behind the seat storage unit with a lockbox for cash or a fullsized handgun (glock model 22 .40cal)

Google "behind the seat truck..." and go look at its different suggestions.
Also, welcome to FTE

Has anyone see an organizer (like the one linked to) that is half the width of the cab? I already have something mounted behind the seat on drivers side - but a nice storage box like shown, for behind the seat on the passenger side would be great, if anyone makes one.

Here's a less expensive option - the PO had installed one of these in Festus, and I had to remove it because it smelled like body parts had been stored in there.

TRUCK CAB ORGANIZER * MOUNTS ON ANY TRUCK * STORAGE POCKETS * SPACESAVER* | eBay

I like how the advertiser neatly tucked that rifle in there

Check behind the seats at your favorite wrecking yards as well.

The Cab Stowage Caddy, and the lockable Rifle Stowage case, were both Ford Dealer installed accessories.

I have a side box mounted flush with my bed rails. I have about 6 inches between the bed floor and the box. I carry my fourway between the bed and box with a fullsize jack under the box.

Cool thanks for the ideas so far guys. A lock box inside the cab would be really nice. I conceal carry every day, so something other than the glove box or leaving it at home would be a nice option for when I go somewhere that prohibits its.
Once I'm done with my dash repair ill have to come up with some sort of interior storage system, I really like those behind the seat shelves.

I am going to pickup a toolbox for the bed, only because a guy at work will sell me one with working keys for $40. So If i don't like it I'm out much, plus I can always re-purpose it. I'm also considering picking up a headache rack, as there is a cheap one on my local Craigslist. Anyone have pics of one on a bullnose?
