Horsepower?
I just built this motor and im trying to get in the ball park of my power numbers. HP and TWRQ. Its a 71 ford 400 out of a ltd. Tore it down and it got a new crank, main and rod bearing stock rods bored .030 sealed power pistons along with the crank and bearings (sealed power). Comp cam 268h camshaft along with the matching springs caps and retainers and double roller timing chain.Re manufactured heads with scorpion 1.73 roller tip rockers and a edelbrock performer 400 intake with the 750 cfm edelbrock carb. Its in a 79 F250 with a 4 speed manual trans and 4.10 geared dana 60.

Ballpark? Well, every one point increase in compression is worth about 4 percent more HP, +10 to 12 hp. 'figure +25 hp for the cam, +20 hp for the intake and carb. No exhaust work? Then yer choking off some HP & torque.

I have summit racing long tube headers on it but that's it for now its a project truck.And im not sure about the compression that ill get from the pistons. i know that they were dished but i don't know and the cc's
