For reference, here is a picture of my old thermostat and water pump combination and my new thermostat and water pump combination.

Has anyone been able to tell if the OP's issue started before or after his initial thermostat replacement? Inductive reasoning would suggest that he probably replaced the thermostat in an attempt to cure the overheating issue, but I can't find where it says one way or the other. It's sort of important with troubleshooting this to know.
See, if it was going on before he replaced the thermostat, then he's effectively eliminated the thermostat as a possible cause of the problem. However, if he replaced the thermostat and the issue arose only after the replacement, that would suggest that the thermostat is the cause here.

Ok my radiator seems to flow very well but my water pump doesn't seem to be pumping very much water I am pretty sure that is my problem now at least I'm hoping it is and that's why if I drive it nice and slow and don't go over 50 mph it won't get that hot but if i drive hard at all or 70 on the interstate it gets very hot could that be my issue
