Hey guys, I have an '02 F250 that is either haunted or the vehicle security module keeps acting up. I did replace it a year or two ago, and had it programmed by the dealer, but it just has not really worked right for a long time. Currently the remote will lock the doors but usually will not unlock them, the radio and windows often do not work when I start the truck, then they usually come back after 5 minutes or so.

I can live without the remote key less entry, but the windows and radio are really starting to annoy me. I would like to tear the module out. I'm thinking I could just find a keyed power source for the radio and windows, but I'm not sure what else it does. I know the auto headlights, dome light, radio, power windows, and locks all go through the module, but what else? Did the XL or non security group trucks have the same module? I'm hoping I can do this without hacking the harness apart. Any thoughts?
