Alarm/Security module location

Anyone know where it is at on an 04 fx4 supercab? I am pretty sure its somewhere behind the radio. Oh and any tips on taking it out?
Thanks
John

If you're talking about the "Ford approved" accessory alarm, it's probably zip-tied to the harness under the dash somewhere above the drivers feet. If it's anything like the one they sold for the '07's, there will be some wires that have to be reconnected, so it may be tough taking it out unless whoever installed it did a nice, clean job on the install or you have the original install instructions.

No I dont think that is the one I want. I am pretty sure it is called the Body Sercurity Module. Its my dads truck and he had a problem with the auto lights and had that mod replaced under Warrenty. When he got it back the remotes did not work and the radio was out of place, thats why I said I thought it was behind the radio. He looked and couldnt find it. Ford reprogramed the remotes or what ever. He is pretty sure this mod has gone bad agian because the auto lights dont work neither do the locks (The passenger side is the only one that will unlock). No power the the lock acuators. It was replaced a little over a year ago I think.

body security module.

If it is the same module that controls the key less entry system, then it is behind the plastic cover in the rear corner of driver's side of the cab. That is where I found mine in a '05 regular cab. Location might also be called the 'B' pillar. Mine was near the floor about 4 inches up.
