where do i hook up my code reader?

i just got my Equus 3145 reader for my 95 f150 xl..i need it to look up codes for my e40d transmission to see if theres any sensors that are bad. but i dont know where to hook it up at? any helps appreciated.

if its speed density the plug is on the drivers side fender under the hood behind the fusebox. if its MAF than the plug is inside the cab under the kick panel on the driver side, also near the fuse panel.

nope. If the truck is a 95,should be in the same place doesn't matter if it is SD or MAF my 95 is MAF and it is on the driver's side inner fender where the fender meets the cowl by the cruise control. 96 started OBD2 for the f150,that diagnostic port should be inside the truck.

obd1 maf. thats a grey area lol. thanks for filling me in.
