Obviously, the OP needs to know about the flywheel etc, but the fact that motor spins and did start tells me he has a working combo there. His "no start" would seem to be fuel/spark related.
302 was not available with a C6 until 1978 and then only in F100/150's as an option, C4 was also available.
No 1969/79 Passenger Car was available with a 302 and a C6. The only A/T's available with 302's were C4's & FMX's.
C4 uses different flywheels than C6 and there are several different C4 types and tooth counts.

Even though it was free now i have to cut the driveshaft, extend the center of the exhaust and buy the right flywheel, I should of just had my c4 rebuilt it would have been cheaper and i wouldnt have this headache
