Hello all. I am just trying to figure out what motor is really in my truck. Some people tell me it is two valve, some say three. (fender badge says Triton)
Some people say it is a Mustang engine, others say it is the same as a Grand Marquis. Some say Windsor and others say Romeo. Then others say it is a "P.I." performance improvment motor.
Good Lord!! Did Ford have this many different types of engines for all these different vehicles?
JUst answer what is the standard 4.6L in a 2006 XLT 2 WD. Thanks.
