tires

Hi -

I have a 1993 7.3 IDI Diesel, rear wheel drive...what size tires fit on this truck ?

I have a friend with some spare tires that might fit - the size of these potential tires are :

P285 50R20M 4 S

Does anyone know if these would fit ?

Thanks,

Doug

Most of that is entirely too vague to give an accurate answer, but i can almost promise those tires will be nowhere close.

Stock tire size is 235/85/16, dually is 215/85/16. 235s are a bit narrow, 265/75s are a bit wider but more or less the same height. I would go with either of those in a D or E load rated casing. If you want a little bigger than stock go with 255/85/16 (narrow) or 285/75/16 (wider)

the 20's you mentioned will, to say the least, not work, and if i may be so bold, a 50 series would look terrrible on a pickup. Besides all of that, they are a car tire, indicated by the P meaning 4ply rated.
