transmission ?
I just started having a delay when I shift from park to drive and reversre to drive and vice versa. I would say its approx 3-5 sec. Very noticeable and hasnt done it before. Any ideas?

Low fluid or a couple of sticky solenoids. Old or wrong fluid can do this, too.

any way to free the selonoids or do i have to replace? Just one correct?

Sometimes new fluid, either MERCON SP or MERCON LV will free it up. It is most likely only one solenoid.

When was the tranny last serviced and what fluids were used?? Was the ext. filter changed??

Mine went at 226,000 miles.
