Nobody remembers I'm sure, that I was looking for a ramp hauler for my F6. Well, plans change. After some considerable thought, I've decided to go with a '57 bodied F500 or F600 as a trailer towing rig. I've settled on the 142" wheelbase version. My question is this: Are the basic frames and/or rolling chassis the same from 1957-1964? If so, cool, if not, can anyone tell me where the years change (1960-61)? From this post, you can probably tell I'm still looking for the chassis. I can worry about the body later.
I know that the Parts Manual covers 1957-1963 models. And all of those years used the old Y Block V8 so I would assume they all share the same basic frame. NumberDummy could probably verify that the 142" frame is the same part number for all of those years.

I remember that you have a Mercury Meteor, so I also remember the above. I'll give you the info later tonight, it's dinner time for 4 starving Basset hounds.
