frame dimension book / collision repair dimension
Anybody know where you can find a "frame dimension" book. I've seen these type books at body shops that seem to have almost every model car for that particular year. Thre older books had several years worth in one book. The info might include estimated dimensions for several different points on a specific vehicle. That is the best way I know how to describe it. ?!

They are made by both mitchell and motor, but not cheap. You can get them either in book form or they come on software for computer. Might be able to get some used ones if your lucky from a body shop closing down or show up on ebay once in a great while. They seem hard to come by though. My old boss had a bunch of frame dimensions for vehicles that he threw in the garbage, and I didn't grab them before he pitched them. I think black hawk and maybe some other manufacturers of frame machines also make the dimension charts.
