Hello
I have a 1950 F1 with the original vacuum wiper motor. I wanted to know if there is a way to change the actual wiper blade to a modern style that I can use off the shelf wiper blades from Autozone? Has anyone found a way to convert? Thanks
Check out Oreilly's. They tend to carry more vintage line wipers from Anco, etc. Changing out the blade to a "modern" style would require the arm to be replaced. They had a set of 10 and 11" blades right in stock. They even had "WINTER" blades for my 1954 complete with adapters to make it work on my old arms. Good luck.
Thanks
I will check them out and see if they have the adapters
I only used the stock ones I bought two wipers complete with arms from a supplier in Canada for a ten cdn also changed back to electric kit was a major pain to cut defrost ducts and align up but way worth it in the end
