Camper Special sending units bad or Ground?
Read through a number of threads. 77 F350 Ranger XLT Camper Special. Fuels gauge not working. Dual tanks and both supply fuel when the selector switch is toggled. Oil pressure, temp gauges work. Toggled to the front tank, the gauge goes Full. Toggled to rear tank, guage goes empty.
I believe the Camper Specials have a different tank setup as the rear axel is pushed back, extending the wheelbase for its intended purpose. Spare tire is in the bedside and has a centerline front tank with side install fuel sender, rear is top mount and im told its an odd size and good luck finding a replacement sending unit.
Sound like a ground issue or sending unit(s)?
