Brake Line Problem

I was washing the my 2000 F250 4x4 today and noticed a dangling hose on the front driver side caliper. I went to the passenger side to see where it should be attached to and that side was completely missing the hose.

My question is, what exactly does this small hose do? Just trying to gauge how soon I need to get this fixed since I need the truck for work on Monday.

Driver Side

Passenger side with just a little piece left

Here is a complete replacement one for reference.

It looks like the vacuum hose for the auto locking hubs

That's what I was hoping for, thanks for your help. I'll have the lines replaced later in the week and give all the other hoses a once over. The truck only has 45,000 miles but it's 12 years old and rubber bits are bound to go bad sooner or later.
