Exhaust question...

So I just recently bought a 93'f 350 dump truck w the 7.3 Turbo in it... I'm still finding all the little problems and quirks with it from being neglected by the PO... well it seems the piece that connects both manifolds to the Turbo is corroded through and leaking exhaust, so not only is it loud but I'm also losing precious boost!! Lol what is this piece called? Where can I find one? And what's the odds of fixing it up with some weld if I take it off?

that would be the up-pipe. not sure if it is fixable. are you sure it is rotted out? it is pretty thick material and is not really exposed to the elements directly.

That sir, would be called the Y-pipe / up pipe. I have welded a few, more often than not they just crack out again. But if its rusted through, i dont see anyway to weld it. A little birdie told me that DPS has a few of them Y-pipes for the factory / 093 kit, you might give them a call, or check local to see what a shop would cost to build one. While youre at all that, i would search for a 3" down pipe and turndown and that will help her out alot, especially with a 3 or 4" exhaust behind it.

I have thought about taking it to a local exhaust shop, as the rest of the exhaust isn't much to speak of, what should I expect to pay for something from the Turbo and manifolds back and a new fabbed "up pipe" all in stainless? (I hate doing exhaust work)

All of that in stainless... uhh... i would venture a guess between 6-800 probably, including the upgraded turndown. Done at the exhaust shop.. im just guessing based on what little stuff i have had our local one do for me.

There is a thread on probably the first 3 pages here, talking about a homemade 3" exhaust housing upgrade. I would track down that thread and do some reading.
