Bruce - I could hug you. You must be sent from the heavens or something. I just got a call a bit ago from the HR person and my official start date for my new IT job is Monday 6/25. WOOOOOHOOOOO!!!! 
So, it's soooo wild that you actually were to post this up and me to see it today, on the same day they told me about my start date. That is so wild.
I'm sooo thrilled right now (and relieved). Although we are still tight on money from me being out the past month (by the time I start), I'm still thrilled that I got a start date and secured a "dream job" for myself.

Mat that is awesome about your dream job! Couldn't come at a better time. Now you can tell that POS company you are working for where to stick it! Or if you don't want to be that rude, you can tell them you are going to work for a "real" company.

I finally got my check yesterday & I'm off to spend it all on bills today! WooHoo!...NOT! LOL!
I won't even have any left over to put gas in my 4runner, but atleast the bills will be paid.

Gonna be another HOT and HUMID day here in North East Indiana and still NO RAIN on the horizon!!!...the 4th of July fireworks are in jeopardy as we are under a burn ban due to the very dry conditions...we'll see how they enforce that...

I can't wait to start on Monday. I'm totally thrilled! They are flying in one of their other IT people to train me and show me around the auction to show me how they do things there (compared to the other auction I used to work at - different company and all).
I definitely wanted to tell the last company where to stick it...believe me, but I figured that probably wasn't a good idea, so I was nice and just tendered my "medical resignation" per their request and let it be. Like they say, things happen for a reason, even if you don't see it or realize it until later down the road. Luckily, this was a very short road to be traveled this time.
How is everyone doing on this fine Tuesday morning, by the way?
