Chris-you should be in the same year grouping as us for street renovation. 2016. I just got off the phone with a gal from the city. Letters going out in the mail over the next week or so.
2016, eh? I wish they would have done it sooner and just gotten it over with. Oh well.
On another note, my muffler delete just came in. It is not T409 stainless like the description says. It definitely is T304.
I love DCTC. Have only done it on a bike though. Have fun and kick their *****.
It's a blast Jay. Take some bike classes out there if you haven't. Not only is it a blast to ride, but you might learn something too. And since they are instructional classes, you are covered by insurance as opposed to a race track, where you are not. I know this first hand. That's where my son crashed my 600RR. My son--><--me
It should be interesting. This is my first time Autocrossing.
That looks like a Torx but different. Is that a correct assesment?
yes. you can make a torx work, but are likely to strip it if its even remotely stuck.

I'm sure there is on VWvortex.
IIRC, you can make it work without removing the spindle from the control arm. The key is to turn the wheel all the way one direction...
I suggest getting a bently manual for it. They are expensive. They are 159000% worth it. (I think my passat manual cost $130)
side note: OEM roof racks are back ordered... in case you were wondering.
side note2: if you manage to strip one of those triple square bolts, the easiest way to get it out, is to use the next size up torx bit, pound it in there with a BFH. it will come out. (might have a hard time getting the torx out of the bolt though)

I don't need no stinkin' classes. I am a perfect rider. Cannot teach me anything...
I really should look into some advanced rider class. Not really interested in a race course class though.

Thank you Dustin. Any recommendations on where to buy boots from

just by the whole cv axle... is nearly as cheap, and install time is right around an hour. you'll be the all day playing with those boots, and regreasing the joint.
iirc o'reillys had a cv for $70. lifetime warranty. not a reman, actually new.
reman cv was 60... (boots were like 20)
(above prices were for my passat, I'd assume Jettas are cheaper)
