I know value is whatever someone decides to pay...but i've gotta let this thing go (don't want to, unemployment in our household forces sale) and I have to move this.
1973 Ranger XLT, 47000 miles, (2 titles say it's correct) and the truck shows that the mileage is correct (wear). Body is rust free except for some small surface rust. Trim is perfect and all intact. Factory Candy apple red truck with 302, auto, and A/C that was added on but seems to be a dealer installed item. Everything works, including the A/C that was converted to 134 before put into storage. The build sheet and original books and paperwork were in the glovebox! Still has original paint as well.
I've gotta put pics in my photobucket, and i'll post that link shortly.
Looking for any suggestions. Wife is going ape%$# to sell something, and i'd rather let this go than either of my mustangs.
I'd say $2,500-$4,000...give or take. Gas is still the issue with these trucks. You basically have to give it away for someone to buy it BUT don't give up hope because there are still people out there who won't mind buying it for a good price if everything works as you say it does. It needs to crank up and run on the first start. No spittin' or spuddering. No crazy steering and when you push the throttle...it will go.
