Rough Idle
Hey guys! Thanks in advance for your help. That said I just fixed some egr detonation problems I was having in another post. My issue now is that after changing the plugs and wires the truck is loping at idle and on a cold start almost choking before the ecm revs the motor back up. I thought it may be caused by the spark since this is the only thing that has changed. I also was getting an error about the spout sensor missing so I put one in. Ok for those who this helps i have not changed the dizzy cap or rotor and at night the coil is lighting up like a chistmas tree and the wires looked like they had some cross spark. I took them out of the looms i bought and the idle evened out some. Sparking can still be seen at each one of the plugs dont know if this is normal. Also if you touch the wires you can see the wire light up there thought this might mean the insulation is poor quality. Thanks for the help guys.
