I bought a new 2012 6.7 DRW and when I turn sharp it feels like the front end is jumping a little or grinding a little. Feels like 4wd is on. I turned the 4wd on and turned it off then backed up 10 feet just for ol sake. It still does it. My 2012 SRW 250 didnt do it all and my 05 350 DRW didnt do it either.
I wonder if its normal or do I need to take it in.
The truck drives great down the road and gets great fuel mileage so I wouldnt thing the 4wd is on. Heck I have no idea. Just seeing what you guys think.
I did not see that option like I did on my old 05 where you can stick your hand int he hole and make sure they are on auto and off of lock. It must be a new system im thinking.
I cant remember it was an FX4 2011 6.7 diesel 4x4.......im going to go outside and look again for the override on the hubs to make sure they are on auto here in a few and report back in.
I am such a freakin idiot. Its been a long day. The hubs were set to LOCK instead of auto. That would def cause it!! LOL!
Now here is the next question. The truck has 1200 miles on it and they have been on since I bought it obviously. Do you think the 4wd system is damaged??

lol cool nice easy fix! No you should be just fine. I leave my hubs locked on my 04 all winter and during the summer/spring I free 'em up.

the hubs on my dads farm truck have been locked in for the last 60k miles and he hasn't had any problems. You will loose some MPG's though.
