I am looking at raising my 95 f150's front end up a couple of inches to make my truck sit level. I am not looking to spend hundreds of dollars to do this. What would be the best way to raise up the front of my truck? I would like to raise it 3-5 inches. Thanks.
It will cost some money to do the lift. I had the spacers before I put the 6" lift kit on.I should of used coil springs instead, but it up to you what to use.
You will also need to get a alignment and alignment bushings.
you could get these adjustable alignment bushings and install them so the alignment shop will not charge you to install them. They will just have to adjust them Adjustable Alignment Bushings Pair
or get the kit with springs and adjustable alignment bushings. BDS 1.5" - 2" Leveling Kit
Note these are for 4x4, they have others for 2wd since I do not know what you have.
Make sure you tell the alignment shop that you lifted it and ask them if they can do the alignment right.
The first shop I took it to did it wrong and would not fix it. I emailed head office and they got another shop to do it right.
Also you do not have strut's. You have coil springs and shocks on the front.
My spacers were $80
I ordered the adjustable camber bushings $60
And the allignment $400!!!!
The guy had a hell of a time with the adjustable bushings and had to adjust them 3-4times which is why it cost so much. They said I'd would have been the same price if i used their bushings, then I would have saved the $60 for the bushings..... But I'm also in Alberta and stuff like that seems more expensive here
