I have a 96 f250 powerstroke 4x4 and I can't deside on if I want a add a leafs or a leveling kit.
Which would you prefer? What brand? And if you have a link to it that would be awesome.

Are your springs real close to the bump stops?
Have you thought about just putting new leafs and bushings in the front?
What are you looking at for a leveling kit?

 

I already put new leaf springs in and I want to level my truck out so the ride hieght is the same as the back

A leveling kit for our trucks is an add-a-leaf, it's the same thing. How many leaves are in your front springs now?

 

I have 2 right now

 

I haven't figured out why yet, but some of the F250 PSDs have two leaves and some have three. I have a 94.5 ECLB that has three, a '97 ECLB that has three, and a '97 ECSB that has two. The only difference in these trucks is the one '97 is a short bed. Maybe that's why it only has two, but then again, I have a '92 CCLB 460 gasser that only has two. My point is, maybe if you can find a set of springs with three leaves, it will give the height you want. The ones I have with three leaves seem to sit up a little higher.

 

Well my friend has a 93 f250 idi 4x4 same thing as my truck but older and he has an add a leaf set and I have been trying to find the company that makes them and I havnt seen nothing yet, all it is is a nother leaf added to the bottom and I don't really want to go back and geting another pair of new leaf springs after I just baught a pair last week
