Thanks for that info. I only need to change the t-stat. It was flushed when they
replaced the oil cooler back in Jan.
The reason I even said any thing about the flush was that I wanted to know if
the process of flushing could of killed the t-stat. Ford shop did all the work
HG (no ARP) oil cooler,tested EGR cooler,Cooling flush, FICM repair
track bar, alignment and last replacement of the battery cables when it
dumped me on the test drive. I did a quick fix at the time and got myself home
and the truck was mine 2 days later.

FYI, no the procedure didn't kill the t-stat.
