351m header help??????

I want to purchase a nice set of long tube headers for my 77 highboy. I have researched this and can't seem to find a part number. I don't really care what brand they are. I'd prefer ceramic coated headers. I called summit and was told they didn't have any to fit the "highboy". All I seem to see is "77-79 headers fits low boy only, etc..."

Anyone with a highboy that could give me a part number, or anything I'd greatly appreciate it.

what engine.

check into hedman headers. just purchased a set for a 400 ford. going into a 1970 ford 4wd f-250. custom application in my situation. good luck. 89360 is the part number if I'm correct. good long tube header, fenderwell exit. bronco graveyard is another place to check but its a hedman header and they work well for a towing application 4wd situation. 220.00 bucks.

Have you considered a set of outboard headers ? Straight shot back, no getting around all that stuff in the way.

What exactly are "outboard" headers? Does that mean they run on the outside of the frame? If that's the case, that's what I'm looking for since the rest of the exhaust is like that already.

Is there any modifying to the inner fender?

yeah this is what you are lookin for. exit outside the frame. sometimes you might have to notch out cab mount in extreme situation. will be fitting up mine this weekend. will have some photos of hedders. gonna break out camera for this day. crewcab is coming along nicely with a 400 ford cobrajet engine. on this header its black and will need a hi temp paint or get coated with hi temp powdercoat. mine will be jet hotted in my situation, ceramic coating$$ nice little header and easy on starters.

Cool!
I mostly really see boat stuff searching "outboard headers". Would they be fender well exit headers?
Thanks again.

I broke and ordered the hedman 89360 header. Maybe they will fit, maybe not, I'll be the test dummy. I can only hope for the best at this point. These seem to be the best shot. I'll post how they fit later..... with pics.

run a tap in bolt holes!

don't want to trash some threads. file or sand exhaust port for smoothness and good seal.

Cool, share some pics man, I'd like to see em. Unfortunitly my heads are gonna have to be sent off to the machine shop. I cracked an ear trying to get one of the broken manifold bolts out.
