Header question

I got a 64 F100, puttin in a 390 from a 76 F250, I got TransDapt bolt in cross members just for 57 to 64 frames. Heres the question, will headers from a 73 to 79 chassis clear the stearing box. The passenger side should clear without problems, but stearing box looks like it could cause problems. Anybody use this combo before?

Im not using headers from the years you mentioned. I do run flowthech headers on a FE in a 65 4wd f100. It should have the same steering gearbox as your 64. Problems may arise in how you have your motor mounted. The 65 4wd has a motor mount in front and no side engine perches. Look at my build in the projects and see some pics of them installed on the motor. Ill let you be the judge on how or if they will work for you. Good luck with it.
