CEL will turn off after you replace the defective part. Code in memory will remain for a period of time though. What's the code ?

It's actually really nice cause I don't get jerked around, I get parts at cost, and my labor rate is 60/hr if I ever have them do the work. Which is rare. Just mostly get diagnostics done and parts for cheap!
