Had code 116. I replaced the bad ECT sensor. <NOBR style="COLOR: darkgreen; FONT-SIZE: 100%; FONT-WEIGHT: normal" id=itxt_nobr_0_0>Truck
</NOBR> runs ok now. I erased the code. I check for codes the engine running, and hot. Now have two new memory codes 173 and 334, no engine light.
173 is a code for the right side o2 sensor. I have had an exhaust leak, for the last six months. Its on the right side but no code for that until after I replaced the ECT sensor.
334 is a code for the EGR sensor. I ohms tested, it's ok. It has 5 volts. I will try cleaning it next week.
Can an exhaust leak cause a code 173? Can these codes cause bad fuel mpg?
