I know there are several switches, brake, clutch, that turn off the speed control. Mine started working intermittently and now just quit. What switch or maybe not would be the most likely?
are you saying your cruise control no longer works? Or your speedo?
Or
are you saying you want to go faster then 95 mph?
I think he's talking about his cruise.

It could be the switch, clock spring, or any wiring attached to either. Not sure about a common failure point, but I would suggest not simply throwing parts at this. Maybe someone knows the correct procedure to troubleshoot the switches.
I have the same problem. It is hard to find intermittant faults. If I had to shotgun a part I would go for the brake psi switch on the master cylinder. The forward one. It has fixed others I have seen and it's easy to change. Good luck and report back if you find a good fix.
It is likely the Brake Control Switch.
This switch is located under the brake master cylinder and is the one towards the front of engine. This normally closed switch allows power for the cruise to work. When the switch fails intermittently then so does the cruise control.
It's and easy fix and the part is around $35.
This recently had to be replaced on my truck and fixed the problem.
I had the brake control switch issue, I used some contact cleaner and sprayed it and cleaned it up. That was about 18 months ago. Worked like a charm since...
With mine it was the brake control switch. If you look at the bottom of the master cylinder, there are two switch's. The on that is facing the front of the truck. Or the one on the left if you are looking at it from the left finder.
