I hope you paid with a credit card. Sounds like they mit not of done there work right. Buy a cheap trans gauge. It hooks up easy. Just run it in the window and check for sure.
If the trans is working correctly, there is know way it should be hot with that 6.0L cooler unless its pluged. The autometer light gauges are cheap enough, start there.
