Hello everyone I moved on to my next project I recently found a great deal on 2 12 inch kicker comp subs and a 600 watt Sony amp. They sound great but i need to get my box under the seat and can not figure out what I need to do to accomplish about 3 inches all together I have an E99 extended cab with the flip forward bench seat.....any Ideas would be greatly appreciated .....Thank you...JOSH BYERLY
I have only laid a few spot welds in my life but i have a buddy that is very good at it that would help.....I hope this idea works BC i have my box wedged in between the center console and the seat right now and there is no room any more.
you should be able to just fab some brackets to lift it the 3" and bolt it back in.
just make them stronger then what is there to make up for the length.
I thought about doing some brackets like that but i think the back of the seat connected to the wall might cause problems BC i can't go up that high with it I thought about just unbolting the back of the seat from the bracket and that would maybe allow me to move the bench up but Idk I'd the back would fall down after wards due to not being bolted?
