2012 4x4 E-Locker 4.30 Re-gear

Hello folks, great site.

Does anyone know what the diff is for a 2012 F350 6.2 4x4 4.30 E-Locker axle code 4M? Can't see any tags on it and the numbers of the housing don't jive with anything I can find. Looks like a Sterling 10.5 12 bolt pattern.

I want to gear it up to 4.89 or 5.13 and looking for the right parts, but one place told me that it is some new axle that is a 37 spline and we won't see rings/pinions for it for over a year?

Thanks!

the new single tire F350 truck's have the same 10.5 axle but it has bigger 37 spline axle shafts. I haven't heard anything about gears being different because its still the same center section just different axle shafts. Any 10.5 gear set will work you just have to keep that awesome factory locker!

i assume you have the e-locker so why do you need the axle code for? all the gear shop needs is thats its a 10.5 Sterling rear axle out of a F350 that has 37spline axleafts. everything else center section is still the normal 10.5

randys ring and pinion are the only ones that have gears for the 2011 -up F350, only problem is they are stock Ford gears so nothing lower than 4.30....

4.30s should be fine given the lower 1st gear ratio in the new transmission. 1st gear is now about 20% lower than in the 5R110.
