CHROME DECORATIVE NUT COVERS ?
Has anybody had any experience with the chrome Acorn nut covers from Macs ? The one's I purchased for my Head nuts (11/16") fit down right sloppy . First experience with these , I thought they were sort of a press fit . Any suggestions or words of wisdom ?
No experience with covers on head bolts but some over the road trucks use a similar decorative cover on lug nuts. I replaced a couple on my motorhome and had to curl the edge a slight bit to retain them well. You could not see the curl but I knew it was there. They stayed on.
Yep, that will work too. Mine had enough paint on the bolt heads so most had to be hammered on with a mallet. The really loose ones I just squeezed down a bit with pliers.
I've always heard that they were a hit-and-miss kind of fit. And you should always keep a few spares around just because you never know when you'll pop the hood and find one missing. Still, they look cool and I want some.

No need, I had that taken care of after the third child.
The Family Jewels are turned to Cubic Zirconium.
I wouldn't take a trillion (the new million) for the kids I've got,but I wouldn't give you a plug nickle for another one.
I am however, looking forward to grandchildren.I can get back at their parents through them.
