Air Filter Indicator
Has anyone ever had the little air filter indicator go bad on them? I just changed the air filter on my truck. The old one was pretty dirty and the new one made a change for the better in the way the truck runs. However, the little line on the spring loaded indicator still showed it flowing 100% before I changed the filter. Just wondering. I have worked around heavy equipment in the past. We never seemed to have any issues with them there.

Same here... but only when it's due for replacement or foggy out.
If the filter was bad enough to make a noticeable change in the way it runs, and the filter minder didn't pop - you either have a leak or a bad filter minder.

Lets get this out of the way right away. You reset the indicator, right?

I did after I changed the filter. However, it had not moved off the full flow line before the filter change.
