I agree. I got mine done in one shot. I knew to watch for the hang ups and did just fine. My trucks a rust-bucket too! I wish I hadn't waited so long to do it.
Ok read it. You can try this Riffraff Diesel: Fuel Pressure Relief Rebuild Kit
if dont work I would look at replacing the pump. The stock one could be full of crud. Also recheck all your connections for the fuel pressure gauge.

I do remember seeing your thread a little bit ago. Thanks for the link. I stumbled on this thread by searching for the Airdog system. I think I will order the same kit from Strictly Diesel. RR should add one to their store! I seem to be a regular lately...

I was looking at that before. I think it's a good idea too. I'm hoping I won't have to replace the pump. I figure I'll probably start with the FRx, as it should be done anyway - especially with the in-tank mods.

I agree completely - I wish RR stocked pre-pump kits and coolant filter set-ups.
