fuel knock?????

When i get to a 1/4 tank of fuel,my engine make some wierd noises like air in the fuel and it misses alot.What can i check?is it running out of fuel?the light for low fuel does not come on yet so i think i have a least 6-7 gal of fuel.

i would say the pickup tube in the tank may be sucking air. Have you done the intank mod yet?

Agreed. Do the in-tank mods.

I'll third the in-tank mods. If the engine tone changes when fuel levels drop below a certain point, it means air is being sucked in. Yank out the tank and upgrade the pickup assembly.
