40/20/40 broke??
Im hoping someone could help me solve my issue. I have an 09 f250 with the 40/20/40 bench seat and when I have the center folded down it feels like the passenger side of it is broken and it rocks back and forth. I can't seem to get the center apart so I can see what's going on. Anybody know how to fix this?? Thanks

im going to try to explain how to fix it, it has been a while since i fixed mine and im not looking at it now so i will do the best i can.
where the fabric (or leather) goes up and folds over the top of the console there is a plastic keeper ring snapped on, to keep the cloth in place. you will need to pry that out with a flat head screw driver, be very careful or it could break.
when you get that keeper out of the way just pull the fabric down in the back (on the passengers side) and you will probably see a screw laying in there somewhere that has come loose. it goes up through a metal bracket and screws into the plastic part of the console. you could probable even use some epoxy or plastic weld on the screw before you put it back to keep it from loosening again.
then just lift the fabric back up in place, keep it tight when putting the keeper back on so it wont be loose. its kinda a pita to do, but just take your time. and if you have the CC its easier to do in the back seat. hope this helps out.

I figured it out...wow, pretty easy. I ended up taking the storage compartment door off by sliding wire pegs out the hinges (have to let the seats back) Just start on the passenger side and put a flat head in and pry towards the door and up. The "holders" are towards the inside. I'll take a pic tonight, I didn't think of it as I was doing it. Sure enough, the screw was laying in there. I added a small washer to it. Turns out I still have a crack that is giving it some very slight wobble, but I am sure it will get bigger and bigger.

Ok, here are the pictures. I didn't take anything apart but I am showing the "ring" you have to pry up to get to everything. I am using my facebook, maybe this works. If not I can email them and someone can put on pic sharing site.
In this one, its the piece between my fingers.
In this one, its the piece that borders the fabric. The fabric actually tucks up under this. I was only able to really pull it out from the back versus the sides. But the back is where the screw is so thats okay.
