I am about to order a 250 6.0 Crew Cab and i want to make sure I get everything I want. Is this seating arrangement a good one? I would like to have a console, but youi know you always have that one other person who wants to ride. Is the middle 20 a flip down console like the F150 or is it just a flat back that folds down? Thanks.

 

it is a flip down console that has more room inside than the one in my '98 f150. i like it alot.

 

My 40/20/40 seat is very comfortable. I had it in my 2001 and liked it. I couldn't find a truck the color I wanted with the 40/20/40 seat in my area so I had to order it. To each his own bu there is no way I would trade for captains chairs. Haul too many kids with us.

I have the 40/2040 in my 99 and really like it. The bottom middle section is a nice place to stick a JL Audio Stealthbox sub if you're so inclined, makes the seat a little hard though.

My new truck is ordered with captains chairs, from what I can tell you get more seat control adjustments on the passenger seat (similar to the drivers) with captains chairs.....important to keep the primary passenger happy. This time around I'll get the Stealthbox for the center console.

 

The 2003 40/20/40 also comes standard with the power features of the drivers side, at least in the Lariet.

Only way to go. Separate power seat controls, flip down console, very comfortable.
