1990 Bricknose Door Locks
The title says it all, I got a XLT Lariet over on the 7.3 and 6.9 IDI forums, the blasted door locks dont work....i get nothing from the switch. I have power to the switch, but the pink sender wire goes to a pigtail with no connector or something, am I missing something or is my door missing a couple things, its the same case on both sides of the truck.

For power locks there should be a solenoid mounted at the bottom of the door right below the latch and there will be a short rod connecting it to the latch, if you don't have those parts maybe the PO started a power conversion and never finished, but if they're there and just not responding then the solenoids are probably seized up.. which isn't uncommon

Well the solenoids there, my build sheet from ford says it was an XLT Lariet with power everything, except it had a solid rear window....there is a short rod there but there is no solenoid....can i fix this?

So you do or you don't have them? You have to do one of two things, add solenoids(if you don't have them) or replace the ones you have(if you do have them but they don't move).

This is what the solenoids look like. Mine were junk when I bought my '89(typical).
