door adjar

Ive been reading alot about this problem on these forums and i figured that i need to replace the switch on the locking device. But has anybody had the problem of the door lock switch not working also. Is this part of the same problem or is there something else going on. Any help would be greatly apprecated.

Yes, there have been a fair number of folks with issues of power locks, power windows, or door speakers not working in conjunction with the door ajar light. What's often the cause of the power locks (or others) not working is due to a broken wire (or possibly a couple wires) in the accordion boot between the door and the cabin.
