Im a noobie here and am having some issues with my work truck. It has 300k on it and it might be just a minor issue. The surging rpm's happen in park and neutral and happen as well on declining speeds. I put a new CPS sensor on and still same symptoms. I replaced fuel filter and swabbed the screen on the upper right of bowl. I was going to replace TPS sensor today but figured id ask for some of your opinions first before i start dropping $30 a day into this thing....thanks a mil!!on. Last thread was deleted so sorry if im repetitive.

Unplug the ICP sensor and see if it smooths out. The ICP is on the driver side head behind the A/C compressor it's a 3 wire plug.

 

Ok ill give it a shot right now..if it evens out does it need replaced or leave unplugged?

yup it stopped bouncing...i noticed a hard shift from 1st to 2nd and im sure that will correct itself with new sensor ya?
