Now I know how the Corvette owners felt in one of the first seasons. These guys have no shame, but they're fun to watch and I learn a lot. Bifurcating the economy car with a rocket was intense.

Yeah I cringe when I see these nice rust free vehicles getting destroyed but you have to remember it happens every day for no reason. At least these are being video taped and shown and there is an actual test being served.
Cash for clunkers was the biggest waste of vehicles in history!

I thought that during the show they said they got the toughest truck they could find for this test? Kind of makes me wonder if they tried this test with some other pick up first and had it fail miserably. Can you imagine if they had tried that with one of those Toyota's that had the rusting frame issue?
Who knows. They did say that, but they had the truck since the season started. Must say, it suits Mr. Hyneman well.
It was funny that they had to conceal all the logos and emblems. Brought back bad memories of when f**d sued us a couple years ago.

Well on the upside I think they just gave FMC a brand new endurance test for the SD !
I can not imagine just riding in that thing!! My dentist would have to tighten up all my fillings!!!

seeing it bounce around like that reminded me of that bed bounce test video fomoco put out a few years ago when the new f150 came out.
