I ended up having to work some overtime this week, so I couldn't go get it. It's just over a three hour drive from me, so the family will make a day of going to get it. Hopefully I can get it this weekend. They said it's still available. I'm thinking the high miles are scaring everyone off, which is good for me. The only people I probably have to worry about getting it are the nuts on this forum.

Even still it might disappear. I have heard of people even having money down on a vehicle and still missing out. Only way is to go, pay, take vehicle home. I never wait on deals, I either go the day I find the vehicle or the next day and if it is what I want it comes home with me right away.

spoken like a true champion. Yep, my girlfriend has the most annoying habit of having me scour craigslist for something she wants, and I find it, and tell her we need to go get it, and she is like, oh, email him and ask him if its still available, if it is, maybe we can go look at it saturday...

And I'm like, no, thats NOT how buying used stuff works. You find it, and if you want it, you call them and go get it NOW. There is no next saturday! So all the time she has me look stuff up, and then she says, oh, I don't know, and then a week or two later she says "We should go get _____." and i'm like..sweetheart, its gone... we've been over this.

I think in this day and age of walmart and amazon and etc people have it in their heads that if something is out there it will just be out there and they can shop at their leisure, even with used stuff. If you find a deal and you want to take advantage of it, you need to buy it when you find it.

Hell, a friend of mine got ticked at me, I told him I had a full girl's motorcycle outfit, gloves jacket & helmet for sale for a third of what I paid for it, and he said "well, my girlfriend might be interested in the gloves" and that was the last I heard of it. I put it on craigslist a week later and it sold in a day or two, and then a week after that he asked me about the gloves, I was like, sorry, you were "might be interested" and someone else had cash.

Man, she's only your girlfriend and she's asking you to do this and then that....

The honey do list will only grow and never ends once you're hitched....LOL.

I always stick to the price I want on a vehicle which is what it is worth but one time a guy tried to hold out on $50 and asked if I would hold it for him with no down pmt. I sold it that day to someone with all the cash and you should have seen the look on his face when he came back the next day.

I forgot to post back here. I bought the EX this past Friday.

Overall I'm pretty happy with the purchase. There are a few issues and I have made posts already to get help.

Later this week I'll make a thread showing off the 4th row for everyone to see.
