I have a 4R100 automatic trans w/convertor out of a wrecked 2002 F-250 SuperDuty
truck. The truck only had 26K miles and was powered by a 5.4 V8 gasoline engine.
Email if interested.

That's what I was wondering of possibly wont bolt up
Im thinking the bolt pattern is prolly different and then the insides on the trans would be geared differently for a desiel since it doesnt get up as high in the RPM's.

Bellhousing is different. Planetary gears are lighter duty. Torque converter is different; diesel has 6 lugs. May be some differences in clutch packs, also.
