XRF Ball Joints- Testing

Well fellas, I finally scored my D60 with 4.30's, needs ball joints though. I have been running Moog's in my D50 and have had success. But after reading about all the Dodge boys raving about the XRF's, not to mention a small "thumbs up" by Pete in a post on here, I thought I would take a chance. The one thing I didn't see was good follow posts from people who had over 20k miles on them. So, I'm starting this thread to keep an honest no BS tab on them. They should be here on the 10th and installed soon after. I'll keep everyone posted.

Way over 20k on my XRF ball joints by now, but it doesn't really count since I'm only a 2wd.

I'm glad to hear you guy's like them so far. I'll be honest, I really was on the fence about trying these, ALWAYS been a Moog man when it came to stuff like this.

For upper and lower ball joints I paid $131.96 shipped to my door. Moog's ran me almost twice that when I did my D50. I just checked O'Reilly's (man that's a lot of apostrophes for one word) and they want $289.53 for upper and lower MOOG. I don't mind paying that price for Moog's, just herd A LOT of good things about the XRF's and wanted to try them.

Edit: I just checked Amazon.com and the Moog's run half that, $143.90

Thanks for doing the leg work on the pricing of the moog and the xrf. I see they really aren't much differents in pricing. I too have been hearing good things about xrf front end parts. But like you have said in this tread it would be nice to see how they hold up after 100k. I also like how XRF offers a million mile warranty. And since this truck is the last truck I'll ever buy it would be nice to know that XRF will stand behind their product.

And in the past few years I have heard some negative things about moog ball joints. Not many but still more than I have heard in the past.
